Natural properties of lambskins for babies
Its temperature-regulating ability in both cold and warm weather is one of the most valuable characteristics of lambskin. This means that baby lambskins keep little ones warm in winter and prevent heat build-up in summer.
Our baby lambskins and sheepskins for babies are cuddly soft and treat your little one to the utmost comfort. Our beautiful lambskins are breathable and versatile and can be used as a liner or pad in your pram, as a rug for playing on in a nursery, or as a cushiony pad for the couch.
The medical tanning of our lambskins for babies gives them antibacterial and anti-allergenic effects.
Medically tanned lambskins are machine washable up to 30°C. They feature a beige or yellowish colour. These lambskins are produced in such as way to allow them to withstand the gentle cycle when washed with our Fellhof special shampoo. Do not use the spin cycle. Do not tumble dry or place on a heater to dry. The best thing to do is simply lay your lambskin out on a clothes horse and let it air dry.
For babies, we recommend shorn sheepskin with short wool as it there is less risk of the wool getting into the mouth or nose and being inhaled.
