Its naturally glossy, dense coat and soft color transitions give Montafon hides an elegant appearance. Subtle light areas or fine markings add unique accents. This natural coloration creates a harmonious and timeless look, making Montafon cowhide rugs a perfect fit for both classic and modern interiors. Info: The breed is also known as Brown Swiss. It originated in Central Switzerland in the 15th century and is mainly bred in Alpine regions. In 1960, it was also introduced into the United States.
